Running when you can’t really run… I’ve been doing 10min “runs” in my basement. Normally the weekly track run is my one quality workout a week. So many times this morning I thought about not going or about quitting. Instead I ran with a much slower pace group and I’m so glad I did!Don’t confuse years with forever or never.I feel like I’ve been shoveling nonstop for days ❄️❄️❄️😮💨💪🏽I loved shoveling at 9 months pregnant and I still do!

Mustard Green Potato Salad
I put some stuff together – assuming that it would be edible. It was shockingly delicious. We finished it too fast, I hadn’t made enough. The next day describing it’s marvel to a coworker she asked what I did. I … Continue reading

Finding achievement in a simple salad
This salad is a testament to my years of culinary curiosity. When I was in my early 20’s fresh out of the dorms I recall having about 3 “meals” I could cook. They all included canned diced tomatoes and … Continue reading
Rainbow Quinoa Salad
This is an excellent summer salad. I planned on making it as a pre-race dinner weeks ago. I’ll take it with me tomorrow afternoon when I drive to Winona for the Trinona triathlon. It would be cool and refreshing and … Continue reading
